Common Applications

Compatible with 5.3L and 6.2L engines, including selected 10-speed applications and hundreds of other vehicle applications.

2022 Model Compatibility

The OBDCAR AFM/DFM Disabler is NOT compatible with 2022 Refresh model trucks or SUVs.


To help confirm compatibility with a 2022 model truck, check the VIN. For early models, the 12th digit should be "4" or lower.


PLUG AND PLAY

Connect the Device
Plug the OBDCAR AFM/DFM Disabler into the vehicle's OBD port.

Wait for the LED
Wait for the indicator light to turn on. Once the LED lights are on, the device is communicating with the vehicle and you are ready to drive.

KEEP THE FACTORY ECU

The device does not reprogram your factory ECU. When the device is unplugged, the vehicle can return to its factory settings.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Please confirm compatibility with your vehicle before ordering.
  • The device is compatible with 5.3L / 6.2L 10-speed applications as well as many other applications. Please verify your specific vehicle.
  • If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove it from the vehicle to help prevent the vehicle battery from being drained.
